IPhone 12 fined for not sending charger

The iPhone 12 series, launched at the end of last year, has not only returned to the right angle frame design of the iPhone 4 / 5 era and supported 5g, but also launched a major initiative to eliminate chargers and headphones in the packaging box.
Apple's explanation for the cancellation of the charger is:

"At present, there are billions of chargers, headphones and data cable accessories in the world, and the new accessories are often idle. Therefore, these accessories will not be included in the iPhone product line.

This will reduce carbon emissions, the exploitation and use of rare raw materials, and the packaging of products. All these measures can reduce carbon emissions by more than 2 million tons per year. 」
But Apple's "environmental" reasons are not bought by netizens, and make complaints about Apple.

Some users think that Apple has canceled the charger and headset accessories, but the price of the iPhone has not been reduced accordingly.

Users don't feel the benefits of Apple's cancellation of accessories. On the contrary, the fast charging cable attached to iPhone 12 can only be used with type-C charger. Many users still need to buy another charger, which further increases the use cost.

Apart from the Tucao of netizens, foreign regulators make complaints about Apple's failure to send chargers.

Procon SP, a Brazilian consumer protection agency based in Sao Paulo, fined Apple $2 million, or 13 million yuan, on Friday, 9to5mac reported.
The fine was based on Apple's failure to include a charger in the iPhone 12 box, misleading advertising and unfair terms to users.
In October last year, Brazil's Consumer Protection Agency questioned Apple about the fact that the iPhone 12 doesn't come with a charger, but Apple "has not proved its environmental benefits.".
Procon SP also said Apple didn't respond to questions about whether the price of the iPhone 12 has been reduced after the charger was removed, what are the prices of iPhones with and without chargers, and whether the number of chargers produced has been reduced.

Fernando capez, executive director of Procon SP, said Apple needs to understand that Brazil has reliable consumer protection laws and institutions and that they need to respect them.
Brazil is one of the most expensive countries in the world, and the price of iPhone is the highest in the world.
For example, the iPhone 12 Mini costs $729 in the U.S. and $1200 in Brazil.

With such a high price and no free chargers and headphones, it seems no surprise that consumer regulators have fined apple.

In addition, Procon SP also pointed out that Apple has some other problems, including the iPhone's promotion of water-proof but no warranty, the IOS update makes the iPhone slow down, and so on.
Apple has yet to respond to the Procon SP penalty.
Many users are very dissatisfied with the fact that the iPhone doesn't come with chargers and headphones, but it doesn't seem to have a negative impact on the sales of the iPhone 12 series.
The iPhone 12 series, on the contrary, is the best-selling iPhone in recent years, helping Apple reach the top of global smartphone sales in the fourth quarter of 2020.

In addition, other mobile phone manufacturers have begun to follow Apple's example and no longer come with chargers and other accessories.

I'm afraid in a few years, we will never see chargers, headphones and other accessories in the mobile phone packaging box.
